Do you like to organize parties? Do you pay attention to the details? Do you find yourself the “producer” of all the outings for you and your friend AND you enjoy that role? Have you ever been to a trade show or conference? Ever helped out or volunteered in your company’s booth at a trade show? Ever been an organizer of big family events or trade shows? UXPALA is planning and producing a UX Conference for fall of 2019. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, ambitious, is good at organizing and management their time, likes to take on big projects, has some project management experience and has some experience with trade shows and conferences or has at least attended 5+.

• Produces and Manages:
  • Acquires event/venue spaces
  • Works with Venue team to focus on production of event 
    • Catering/Refreshments
    • Stage
    • A/V set up
    • Chairs
    • Signage
    • Check-in
    • Wayfinding
    • Parking
    • Decorating
    • Clean up
  • Event Scheduling (Meetup/Website/Eventbrite)
  • Event Promotion (w/Marketing)
  • Event Speaker/Workshop/Activity Scheduling
• Works with:
  • Director of Finance
  • Director of Programs
  • Director of Marketing
